Integration between ecoport management and capacity utilization of container terminals as a sustainable seaports development strategy

Abstract Seaports have a very important role in world trade, as well Makassar New Port 1A, which has strategic role, especially for the Eastern Indonesia Region. The container terminal at 1A an loading and unloading of goods. use capacity is urgent to analyze, whether it optimal or not. Ecoport management also analyze because can affect sustainable port performance. It necessary know how integration between ecoport 1A. So this study aims to: (1) application 1A; (2) utilization not; (3) terminal. results showed that electrical energy quite efficient had not been used optimally with average BTP value (12.77 TEUs/meter). While correlation analysis show strong-enough 0.514, meaning are interrelated, influencing each other, development must go hand order provide benefits.
